The most obvious advantage to miniature living is the cost saving nature of this way of life. one can buy a manufactured shed large enough to live in from anywhere to $3,000-$7,000, give or take. since there are so many sheds and so many size options, it’s hard to say a good range as individual needs will vary.. If it was easy to build a structure to live in then the homeless population would go down. i’m sure the problem of homeless isn’t entirely mental illness, drug addiction, and poverty, but also the impossible building codes and regulations. i’m not sure why the city needs to be concerned if i’m living in a shed on my property or not..
